  • Tracks citations and sources in AI-generated content
  • Provides competitive intelligence and visibility metrics
  • Offers website analytics for AI bot traffic

2. Account Registration

Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must provide accurate, complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential
  • All activities under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Provide accurate brand and business information
  • Respect rate limits and usage quotas
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You agree NOT to:

Cancellation

  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods

Free Trials

  • Cancel before trial expiration to avoid charges

AI Response Data

  • AI responses collected by our monitors are provided for informational purposes
  • AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or change over time
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI model outputs

Data Portability

  • You may export your data at any time through the Service
  • Upon account termination, data is deleted per our retention policy

6. Intellectual Property

Our Property

PromptFern's software, design, logos, and content are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our property without permission.

Your Content

You retain rights to your brand information, prompts, and configurations. By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and process your content
  • Display your content back to you
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement

PromptFern integrates with third-party services (AI platforms, payment processors, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes.

"As Is" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

AI Platform Dependency

  • We rely on third-party AI platforms for monitoring
  • These platforms may change, restrict access, or become unavailable
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any AI platform

No Guaranteed Results

  • AI visibility depends on many factors outside our control
  • We do not guarantee improvements in AI mentions or rankings
  • Insights are informational and not guaranteed to be accurate

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROMPTFERN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding amounts paid to us in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PromptFern from claims, damages, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
